Eilish had Pneumonia last year, so she was in hospital with 2 weeks

IV's. It still took her a month or so to get over it, with IV's.

Hi all, well has been sick on and off for the last month, I kept

telling the doctor he was sick. His doctor said that his chest sounds

okay,

WRONG. I took him to the hospital and told them I want a chest x ray, I

don't

care what they say just do it. had a fever for 3 days at 102 and

he

just laid around. I told the doctor on call at the hospital that. well

he

told me children at that age are hard to determine if they have anything

brewing in the lungs by listening to their chest, he says if their is

fever,

x ray to be sure. I really liked him, he was real nice to us. The x ray

came

back and he asked me about scar tissue in s lungs, I told him I

have

no idea that no one has ever said anything about that, I'm scared, He

actually had another doctor look at the x rays and both of them just

stared,

now at that point I was about to panic, The doctor came over and said

needed Zithromax Now, so they gave him a shot in the hip. has

never

been on anything stronger than amoxxcillian. has been pretty

healthy

and now I'm just terrified about his health. With the shot he has

improved.

He is going back to school on Wednesday. We have a follow up with his

pediatrician this week, I am going to ask for him to transfer the

hospital x

rays to his Pulmonogolist so he can explain to me why I was never

informed of

scar tissue. I mean that's what were trying to prevent right? I was told

on a

scale of 1-25 of cf lungs ranked 23, That was last years.

isn't even on the vest or anything that remotely helps him with his

lungs.

The pulmonogolist said that he doesn't need it yet, well what can I do

to

prevent his lungs from getting scar tissue? He has lots of colds since

starting school, the doctors tell me that colds do no damage to the

lungs,

but wouldn't you think it would do something, I mean if one week you are

sick, next week you are fine then following week it starts all over

again. I

feel like I'm hitting a brick wall when trying to get answers. One thing

I do

know, they have pissed off MAMA. I will no longer just accept what the

doctors say, I am going to question and demand x rays, cultures,

bloodwork if

I feel it necessary to prevent damage to my child. I don't understand

why

they aren;t doing more for , I told them maybe hes sick because

he

carries staph, I just get that look, who is the doctor. Well it changes

now.

And if they decline, then IM going to contact their bosses and if that

doesn't work, then IM going further. One thing my husband learned early

on,

you can mess with me, you can mess with him, But you cannot mess with my

children. well I figured I have ranted enough, if anyone out there has

dealt

with pneumonia, can you tell me what to look for and how the medicine

zithromax works, I would really appreciate it. Thanks........ ,
