Guest guest
Usually once one has used several webpages and accessed Yahoogroups several times, cookies are automatically accepted. There is a special setting on my Gateway, but without its being set, as there is no negative setting, just using sites which require cookies-- such as a couple of websites (http://www.XXXX.com) or something will activate it. The process varies with each brand and type of computer. Also do not delete everything before you try it, especially internet options, files, cookies, etc. Your friendly cf computer nerdess, n Rojas
Guest guest
To all of you, who can't register with Yahoo. Yahoo does only work, if your computer accepts cookies. Unfortunately I don't have the time to figure out what you have to do to enable the cookie-acceptance on your computer. So if one computer-freak out there would post a step-by-step instruction how to activate that option, this would be appreciated. Guest guest
For some of the users of intenet explorer. Open IE - 5.X or 6 and click on tools > internet options > then your choice of security or privacy. Set it somewhere around medium for either or both. You should be OK now. If it doesn't work, email the list and I'll get back to you. Let me know your operating system and your web browser.
