Guest guest Posted May 16, 2003 Report Share Posted May 16, 2003 LAST NIGHT JUST AS I WAS GOING TO BED I HEARD THE NEWS THAT IS ADVISING NO TRAVEL TO THAILAND, SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA. OF COURSE BRIAN IS STILL THERE. SO I RANG HIM AND LEFT A MESSAGE HE PHONED ME AT 3AM TO SAY THEY WERE LEAVING FOR THE AIRPORT TO TRY AND GET EARLIER FLIGHTS OUT. SO AFTER A WORRYING DAY HE RANG 5 MINUTES AGO TO SAY THAT THEY ARE GETTING ON A FLIGHT IN 3 HOURS TO SYDNEY. THEN THEY WILL NEED TO TRY AND GET ONE BACK TO ADELAIDE. BUT AS LONG AS HE IS IN AUSTRALIA, THATS THE MAIN THING. HE SOUNDED BUGGERED. SO NOW I HOPE THE PLANE IS SAFE AND HE WILL BE HOME TOMORROW SOMETIME. PLEASE KEEP A 'GOOD THOUGHT'. I will also have all my friends across the country to join in with me. Great vibes surround him a & his colleagues as they travel .You can be sure of that!!! This is a time when we all need to pull together in our already troubled world of CF to join in for the safety of our loved ones in this problem area too. Keep your precious smile on & your spirits up so he then is sure all at home is well. Lifting yet another stress for him while away from his family. I am sending warm, protective thoughts to keep him safe until he returns home to you and your family. I guess the problems with the surrounding countries was enough to put Thailand in the scare zone.
