Country Music Festival-Reunion

Friends, Fellow Pickers and even the two people who don't like me. My

niece Sandy Cochran passed away at age 29 from Cystic Fibrosis. During

the time she was with us, the Cystic Fibrosis support people were there

to help her cope with the disease. I've decided to hold a fundraiser

with all the money being donated going for the benefit of Cystic

Fibrosis Research, Inc.

As you may remember during the 60's, 70's and 80's Country Music

was very big in the Bay Area. I've been in touch with all the musicians,

radio folks, bartenders, waitresses and friends that I have been able to

locate and we're going to have a reunion. I have commitments from lots

of people, (too many to mention) that will perform or help out. All the

clubs, bands and radio people that were active during that era will be

represented.

The event takes place Saturday May 17 noon - dark at the Coyote

Ranch off Monterey Rd. in south San . (Monterey Rd. & Metcalf Rd.

just past the PG & E power plant). Get directions at www.coyoteranch.com.

A delicious Tri-Tip & chicken barbecue prepared by the famous Coyote

Ranch B.B.Q. Crew will be available and of course, Beer, wine and soft

drinks too. Plus there will be other activities in addition the music.

A great time for a good cause that the whole family will enjoy. A

$15.00 donation for adults, kids are free. (It's tax-deductible make

checks payable to Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc.) For more info please
