Is on finger food now? If she is, welcome to wedges - wedges of potato, sweet potato, pumpkin or parsnip, fried or baked, with lots of sour cream for dunking...Fish fingers with cheese melted over the top, and lots of mayonnaise or thousand island dressing for dunking. Scrambled eggs or french toast - remember to use double cream not milk - if she's up to full eggs. If she likes cream cheese - spread it on bits of apple or celery or carrot. Other family favourites - cheese sauce on vegetables; fried fish cakes served in home made bread rolls with lots of mayo.; cream based pasta sauces; mashed potato with lots of butter and cream; cheesy tuna mornay served with pasta.... (and I can't cook anything at the moment, cause the people with gastro keep complaining that the smell of food makes them feel worse! It's a conspiracy!!) Oh, by the way, I've managed to book Sian in for a CT scan at the local hospital rather than a barium enema. I think the local hospital should be capable of managing a CT scan on a six year old better than they would manage a barium enema. Anyone got any helpful suggestions on CT scans? I've never had one...... Much love to all, - Mum to Cate 10yrs wocf and Sian 6yrs wcf, asthma, GERD and ADD Canberra Australia-
