Guest guest
Hi , Oddly enough, many CF children like spicy things. At that age one of my daughter's favorite things to eat was scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese in them. I know, a one year old eating salsa? She loved it. (still does) Here is the recipe: 1 egg 1 tbs mild salsa 2-3 tbs heavy whipping cream 1tbs powdered milk scramble when almost cooked add shredded " Mexican " cheese or shredded mozzarella continue cooking. It tastes pretty good. I came up with this recipe from my own (lower cal) version of " Mexican eggs " Mom of , 4 with CF visit our group at http://groups.msn.com/TeamJane to read her story 's mom Hello everyone my name is michelle and my husband is jim we have four girls Caitlin ( 8yrs) (7yrs) Moira (3yrs) and baby (!yr) is our only child with cf she was diagnosed at birth when she was born with boul blockage she since then has had a takedown and been in the hospital a few times but for the most part she has done very well we live in Illinois so we are looking forward to the summer so that the cold season is gone i am really haveing a hard time finding foods that anna will eat she is not real pickey but gets bored with food real fast if anyone has any good high cal recieps i would really love them it was nice to talk to all of you and i hope to talk to you soon anna's mom michelle and happy mothers day to all of you mom's

Guest guest
Welcome to the list ! We're glad to have you and I'm sure will be good for you and helpful with . If she is old enough to eat honey and peanut butter my daughter used to like a recipe called peanut butter balls. You mix 1/2 cup of peanut butter with 1 cup instant dry milk and 1/4 cup honey. Then roll into balls and roll in rice krispies. I think that is right. It's been years since we made it. It's fun for the kids they can roll the balls and do the rice krispies and it's high calorie. love, M mom of age 19 wcf and Nick age 21 nocf Happy Mother's Day to you to and all the moms!
