Guest guest
I was just curious of those of you who participate in the CF Walk for CFF, what do you do to thank your team members and those people who help by providing donations? This is the first year that I have had a team walk with me and I want to do something to thank them but quite frankly, I don't have a lot of money since my husband is getting laid off next month and neither one of us has received any job offers yet. I was curious what other people do. Guest guest
, For those that send donations, I send a thank you note. This year we invited the walkers over to our house and are going to have a pot luck. We are going to provide hot dogs and burgers, and everyone is going to bring a dish to share. Guest guest
I usually just write them a nice thank you note and put it in the local newspaper. That makes them feel special. I don't use pacific names that way if i forget someone than i won't feel so bad. Our local paper does it for free. You could also send them individual notes with maybe a picture of them at the walk or of you holding a poster with the amount of money printed on it that you raised. Hope this helps. , mother of three two with CF and Chairperson of Glemingsburg Great Strides
Guest guest
, we always have a picnic after our walk at our house to thank everyone that walks on our team. Everyone really enjoys it and it is our way of saying THANKS. In my experience everyone has always offered to bring something to the picnic so that could help with the cost. Take them up on it if they offer. Good Luck on your walk. > >Reply-To: cfparents >To: cfparents >Subject: CF Walk - How to thank your team members? >Date: Mon, 5 May 2003 22:10:33 -0400 > >I was just curious of those of you who participate in the CF Walk for >CFF, what do you do to thank your team members and those people who help >by providing donations?
