Rajeev,

I can understand why you would feel obligation and loyalty to the doctor's who

saved your life. Any of us would feel the same.

Yet if you aren't satisfied with their treatment, which is so quick and hurried

and

leaves you with many unanswered questions, it would be appropriate for you to

see a specialist for your continued health care.

Perhaps you could see a GI for now, and let him review your records and

establish a diet and medication shedule for you. Follow his treatment and

recommendations for several months to see how you feel. If you feel fine and

have no reocurring pain or attacks, then you're in the clear! But in the event

that you DO have more problems, then you've already got a good GI who

knows your history and who is prepared to help you with your treatment.

My hope for you is that within the next year you'll find that this GI is totally

unnecessary. Yet because of the loss of so much of your pancreas, my

optimistic hope may not be one of reality. And for that, you need a good

gastroenterologist for a friend. Good luck to you, Rajeev.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi

was prescribed a couple of medicatioins naming Ocid 20, and Larynx.(if anyone

knows about it, its made in India).

I asked him up when should i get back to hospital, he replied, " you dont have to

stress, its all cured, and if you want, visit us again after 6 months.(He said

follow up check up is not necessary)

You're true that i'm not satisfied with the surgeon and physicians whom i'm

treating with, because they always are in hurry and do not explain everything in

details about my health. So, i guess, i must get with GI at once.
