Guest guest
Patti is 2 1/2 and we just finished her 30 day trial for the vest. It took a couple of weeks, but she finally likes it better than the percussor we were using before. We are hoping that she gets to keep it. Guest guest
Hi Mike, Rosemary is right...we look for a chest circumference of 21 inches. This usually correlates with a 2 year old. We have applied the Vest successfully to children with a chest circumference of 18 inches. It is up to your doctor and your healthcare team to see if your child is ready for the Vest. Let me know if I can help. Randy " At what age do you normally see a child get a vest. We were told around 3 years of age, but it appears that children younger than 3 have vests. Guest guest
Bev is right, Dawn. If Patti is using it, she will keep it regardless of what the insurance company says. Remember, the only way our Vest leaves your home is if you ask us to come and get it. Re: Vest - Age Patti is 2 1/2 and we just finished her 30 day trial for the vest. Guest guest
That's a relief. You should see what my day is like. I home school my other three as the school system here wouln't take the time to properly deal with their learning disabilities. Their view and I quote... " Well, they'll just get by as they can. Somebody has to grow up to be hamburger flippers. " Any way, the vest helps Patti get cpt done by herself so that I can do the 1001 other things that need to be done around here. :-) Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf Re: Vest - Age Patti is 2 1/2 and we just finished her 30 day trial for the vest.
