Today I sit here a different person, I had an intrathecal cath

placed in August. It was a difficult proccedure and it seemed like

everything that could go wrong went wrong. But my life has

significantly changed, before the cath I could barely care for

myself, I had not been out of my house in months,it was difficult

for me to do anything, I slept most of the time. EVERYTHING I put in

my mouth ran right back out within minutes even water. I have had a

total transformation, I can eat anyting without diarrhea. I have

eatten some premade sausage sandwiched that caused pain and I avoid

them, but I have gained 10 pounds since having the pump placed. I

can go anywhere I want I can drive myself. I do have pain daily when

I wake up and if I do too much, but one actiq takes care of it not 3-

4 in my mouth at once. God has worked a miracle in my life, and to

him be all the glory. I was so ill, that I used to cry and beg God

to let me die, that it was all I could take, but he is faithful and

I have been delivered. I was a skeptic too, but when everything has

fallen apart what eles do you have to loose I encourage everyone to

call out to Christ and being a journey with him, I assure you it

will be life changing, for those needing assistance feel free to E-

Mail me and I will help in what ever way I can. I have even been out

looking for a part-time job for something to do, it is amazing.

,

Thank you for that message. When things get bad it is easy to lose

hope, and even holding on to faith can be a challenge. This disease

makes no sense, as suffering makes no sense to us. It is easy to see

suffering and with no answer as to why, to become disheartened. I

hold faith in my most deepest darkest hiding place. It is the one

thing I hold on to when all else seems lost. Faith is all we really

have. I believe in God and his promise. I believe that things will be

better, I hope in this life, I know in the afterlife. It is so great

to hear a story of the realization of that dream of better times. It

is the wind in our wings, the twinkle in our eye, and the gas in our

tank. Thank you for giving me another example of that. I always feel

rekindled when sharing the stories of better times.

God continue to Bless you! Keri
