Guest guest
Thanks! One of my colleagues' wife may have to start on that. I've given her this site because I think it will really benefit her. She's been struggling for the last two years. We both see the same specialist in Seattle at Virginia Mason in addition to our local GI guys. Mine is great and hers is awful. Won't give her anything stronger than Tylenol 3s for pain. I finally got her to just contact the guy in Seattle for her pain meds (Dr. Kozarek - nationally known and a really nice, unassuming doc). If anyone is in this area, I really recommend him. Anyway, thanks for the info and I'll pass along to her what I've been reading from other folks about TPN. Best wishes - Anita
Guest guest
HI! I was on TPN for three months. It was really great to let my pancreas rest and heal. I slowly added clear liquids and once I built up to solid food and felt fine with no pain/nausea, I got off TPN. Taht was last January, and I have not had to go back on it since.
