Guest guest
Hello All, We are battening down the hatches in preparation for Hurricane Isabel. She will hit the NC shore and come up I-40, more or less, towards Raleigh. We are about 100 miles from the beaches here and expect winds in excess of 60 mph. I've been rewiring the electrical panel for the generator and hooking up a fused disconnect switch, so we should be ready. and I went out and bought extra food and water and ice. We're in pretty good shape. I certainly hope this blow is not as bad as Fran in 1996. That was a bad one. During Fran I was without electricity for 8 days and without a phone for 3 days. So if you don't hear from me for awhile, that will be why. Jerry/NC
