Guest guest Posted September 14, 2003 Report Share Posted September 14, 2003 My CP is due to ductal problems due to a stricture caused by a previous surgery, and then small benign tumours growing on the outside of my pancreas. I don't drink alcohol anymore, have not ever drunk much when I did and never had any pain when I did (last drink was a couple of sips 4 years ago), can alcohol still affect the pancreas if used in cooking? I just ask this because I do know that when heated, wine loses it's alcohol content, and to me that sounds as if it would null and void the problem of it causing a problem with the pancreas..
