Guest guest
This was Ainslie's 4th surgery for polyps, she nearly made 3 yrs this time. Kim's observation about polyps growing whilst the child grows makes great sense. Ainslieis 10, basically her polyps grow back fairly quickly but we only have the surgery to remove them when her chest is being affected. She normally does not have a cough at all, only when her sinuses are totally full and we know infected. Ainslie uses a saline solution to help keep her nose clear along with beconase to help keep polyps small and livostin which is a nasal antihistime. I also give her a garlic, horseradish and marshmallow tablet each day. These seem to be helping lengethen the space between surgeries. I will have to question the doctors about polyps growing when the child has a growth spurt - it does make so much commonsense - duhhhh I should have realised it before. Hope this helps.
