Hello all!

Thank you to those who have replied to my questions. Any more

thoughts gratefully received, by the way. Just knowing you are there

does help. Well, yesterday I decided to take the bull (or, rather,

the Professor!) by the horns. I e-mailed him directly (normally one

goes through the GP here in contacting consultants etc.) to ask if

my appointment could be brought forward from Oct. 15th. Half an hour

later I got a reply from him saying he would see me tomorrow,

Wednesday. I'm impressed. So, for good or ill, at least I'll be

getting some more answers soon. I've also thought about trying the

Antox therapy although, strangely, even though (or perhaps

BECAUSE?!) Liverpool is only a few miles from Manchester, where the

antioxidant therapy was first developed, the pancreatic team here in

Liverpool is sceptical. Another problem about stronger or ongoing

pain relief would be the fact that I have to drive to get to school;

from what some of you have said, that could be a difficulty.

Thanks a million for your support and I hope for the best painfree

time for you all.

Best wishes.

Fliss
