Guest guest Posted September 13, 2003 Report Share Posted September 13, 2003 Thanks Fliss!! My medication was changed two weeks ago when I was admitted for the 2nd time in one week. My doctor has never said anything about taking it before snacks. It says to take 3 times a day. I do have an appt. with a ERCP specialist on the 29th of this month to see if I need stents. I have found that there are a lot of ER doctors who don't have a clue about diagnosing and treating chronic pancreatitis. My last admission, the ER doctor asked my husband and I why or how did the other hospital which I was in 3 days earlier come to the conclusion I was having a prancreatitis attack. Of course everyone and anyone who has had a pancreatitis attack knows without question that it is indeed an attack.
