Guest guest
Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I am doing better and came home from the hospital today. Still having some pain but that is mostly from the procedure. Had a really rough night the first night after the procedure because the doctor only wanted to give me what I was taking at home and it wasn't cutting the pain and it took the nurses over 3 hours to get a hold of someone to change the prescription of diluad from every six hours until every 2 hours. Once they changed that I was able to make it through the night and then they changed it again yesterday to for breakthrough pain and the other meds weren't working so again I spent from 1030 until 230 waiting for the nurses to find someone to let the nurses give me the meds in my hip since I blew the IV and they couldn't find another vein. Once I got that shot I slept until about 9 am and felt better. My regular meds are now working and I am at home and feeding now. Thanks for everything everyone has done and as soon as I can I will be back on the computer more. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
Thanks Kimber, I am taking it one day at a time and most of the pain now is from the procedure and when I get spasms. I saw my home health nurse today and she is the one that took care of me last year at this time. I am tolerating the feedings well and am just glad that I am home. My niece came down with the measles while I was in the hospital but she is better now. I was around her when she had the fever but had already had the vaccine within the last five years so didn't have to worry about. Take care of yourself and hope to talk to you soon.
