Dear Cystic Fibrosis Community Member:

My name is Levy and I am the CEO of The Reach For the Stars

Foundation which Benefits Individuals with Cystic Fibrosis. I am also

the father of an 11-year old daughter afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis.

Over a year and a half ago, my wife and I, along with the help of

some prominent friends, created this Foundation. Our vision is to

provide information and educational resources so that critical

knowledge can be readily found, disseminated and it's benefits

immediately derived. We plan to provide a support network and various

forms of assistance to CF families. Our goal is to help these

families cope by advocating for them when necessary, all the while

empowering them to self-advocate; so essential a tool for successful

management of this hideous disease.

Along those lines, on Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at

the Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura, Florida, we will be

hosting a very important FREE symposium on Cystic Fibrosis. Valet

parking, food, snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the

day free of charge.

It would be highly beneficial for Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory

Therapists, Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Grandparents, Aunts

& Uncles, friends, etc. and of course, CF sufferers, to attend this

symposium.

We are flying in some of the top experts in the field of Cystic

Fibrosis to speak on this day. Topics will include; Growth Issues,

Optimal Nutrition, Exercise Therapy, Postural Drainage, Respiratory

Care, Home Healthcare, Genetic Screening, Insurance Regulations,

State Benefits, Insurance Claims, Patient's Rights and many others.

The participants include: Dr. Jack Gorvoy of Long Island Jewish

Schneider Children's Hospital, Dr. Joan DeCelie-Germana of Long

Island Jewish Schneider Children's Hospital, Randi Zinberg, MS of

Mount Sinai Mendical Center (NY), nna Piccolomo, MA of St.

's Hospital (NY), Aruna Navatha, MA, RD/CD, CDE, Kristy M.

, Esq. Of Carlton Fields and A. Cruz, Esq. Of Carlton

Fields. Additionally, all of the participants will be available

throughout the day for private consultations.

We request that patients with Burkholderia Cepacia and other

multiresistant organisms refrain from attending this event.

Prevention of patient-to-patient contact is necessary to avoid

transmission. We recognize the consequences of excluding some

patients, but we are keeping in mind the greater good which is

protecting the health of the full CF population.

field of Cystic Fibrosis, sees the attached flyer. Also a rip-off pad
