Donna,

I had the whipple almonst a year and a half ago. My results were very

good. I have had no attacks, no nausea and have not needed any pain meds in that

time. My weight is lower than when I was healthy but if I take my enzymes is

stays stable. I've been back to work for a year now. Digestion can be tricky

though, diareah can be nasty right after the surgery and when passing gas the

odor can be strong. My surgery was done at s Hopkins and they leave all of

the stomach which is a benifit. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.
