HELP--Need all info I can get about after problems with the Whipple

Donna,

have you checked out the Hopkin's gi website? Here's the link to

the exact page you need. It's the Biochemical Measurements section of

the Diagosis portion of their Chronic Pancreatitis section. The very

first sentence is the one you are looking for. It states that you can

have normal or below normal enzyme levels with chronic pancreatitis.

It's a long URL and if it doesn't bring up the page, copy and past the

whole thing into your web browser. Sometimes if the page wraps, it

doesn't bring up the piece that ends up on the second line so you have

to make sure the whole URL is there.

Hopkins is a very prominent hospital and thier website on chronic

pancreatitis is very informative and even has drawings and photos from

ERCPs and such on it.
