You hit it on the head. I DON " T trust my doctor because I have

never met him. He is someone who is filling in at the last minute

for the GI doc that scheduled this originally who then quit without

finding someone to take over my care. I have not had the chance

to meet the new guy and in fact, am not even sure who it will be.

When I tried to see the manometrist (MD), he refused, saying

that if after the procedure I still had questions I could make an

appointment with him then. So I am going into this " blind " so to

say. But, I figure if they don't think it's a big deal, then I won't.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. So far, I am getting

a little more confident that I will come out of this without a

serious complication. Although I am getting the idea that it is

unlikely that this will be my only one (my first impression was

that it would be). Still not sure if they will figure out how to get rid

of the pain though.........
