Senate Resolution 98 Introduced

This is to notify you that Senate Resolution 98 Declaring National

Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Week in the U.S. October 12 - 18, 2003 has

been introduced to the Senate by Sen. of Colorado.

To pass, it needs half of the Senate to co-sponsor.

It is important that we all contact our 2 state senators today and

tell them our story and why an awareness week is beneficial (i.e.

more understanding from co-workers or schoolmates, earlier diagnosis

and treatment, etc.).

Please pass this on to family and friends and email your senators asap.

Hopefully we will get this passed quickly so that we can spend energy

o planning awareness events rather than burning out trying to just

get the resolution through!
