Guest guest Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 I just met a person who actually lives in the same townhouse development, who has been suffering with pancreatitis for 18 years. He takes methadone for his pain. Is this in the same class of opiates like oxycontin? He takes 40 mgs. 4 times a day. I thought this was a drug used to get off heroin.
