Guest guest
Our kids are exposed to soil and plants wherever they go, so if I were you I wouldn't worry too much. After all, we can't put them in a bubble and keep them from being exposed to everything in nature. Amber Nick';s mom
Guest guest
Hi guys, Here we go. I am getting a little confused about all the plant stuff. I have GOBS of plants in the house. I am questioning whether I should rid them or not. I was told at my clinic that it wasnt the plant as much as the water standing under them. The water can grow all sorts of funky stuff. So, I try not to have them in the pots that have the saucer under them that holds water. I water them a little at a time. I also change the soil about 1 a year. But, I never thought about the soil carrying anything. Also, I have a HUGE garden. Probably 20 X 60. Both of my boys love to help in the garden. I can vegetables all summer long. So, now I am wondering if I should keep the boys out of the garden. I didn't think about the dirt carrying things. (Other than just gross dirt) Well, goes to show you I don't think. I think that the plants and garden etc... are very therapudic to us. It is relaxing in a way, to go out and be in the sun. It seems to even calm the boys down. They love to go into the garden with a basket and load it full. And to be really honest they are guilty of grabbing stuff right off the plants and eating them. (I don't use pesticides, all natural, marigolds and stuff) Well, you all have made me take a second look at things now. I guess I will call the doc and get his opinion on it. Thanks, Vondie mom of & , both w/cf
