Guest guest
Dear , I am so sorry that you are having to go thru that on top of allthe pain of pancreatitis. I dont have pancratitis, but my daughter does. I have been thru it all with her from the beginning over 5 yrs ago. I know how much pain she is in and I have been told by doctors that there is no pain like the pain of the pancreas. She has a brother who refuses to believe anything is wrong with her and like your family cannot understand why she has to take so much pain medication. He has called her a druggy among various other things. I have tried to explain to him how ill and how much pain she is really in but he wont listen. He believes anyone who is sick is that way only because they think it in their head. How I could have 2 completely different children, I will never understand. He has hurt her many times. Unlike your relatives, I do know the pain she is in and never doubt that she is. She has always been a person to hold all of that inside her and not let anyone know if she does have something wrong with her. But this is way past doing that, I have often wondered why people have to judge when they have no idea what another person it going thru and living with daily. I have been with her when she is so ill, it makes me cry just to see her. If I could I would take that pain from her in a second. It is so unfair for her to have it being so young, as you are. Remember that these people who judge you have not walked in your shoes and have not way of knowing what you are going thru. But to me, it is not even being a himan to judge and condemn someone else. I hope you can get some relief and wish you the best. Jean, Indiana
