Percy:

I just wish that you could find a doctor like the pm doctor I have just

started seeing. The last doctor wouldn't listen to me when I told him the

oxycodone just wasn't working. When I went to the hospital and they

suggested oxycontin, he finally agreed to give me that, 20 mgs. two times a

day, with oxycodone for breakthrough. To make a long story short, it takes

100 mgs. oxycontin two times a day, and Actiq lozenges three times a day to

give me any quality of life. He was giving me oxycodone for breakthrough,

and I told him that I was taking it for lack of anything better just waiting

until I could take my next oxycontin. He agreed that " they must be like

water to me at this point. " My tolerance to most of these narcotics is

pretty high by now. Anyway, if there is any way for you to get in and see a

pain management doctor, please try to do it. Please don't think that you

are being made to suffer for your earlier behavior. Alot of other people

drink and don't get pancreatitis. I haven't had a drink in 20 years and I

got it...the doctor said it was probably from my drinking I did during my

college years that caused it, it just didn't show up till now! Now, that's

far fetched if you ask me. But, it's not even the point. Who cares how I

got it, at this point, just help me live with some quality of life! Hang in

there Percy, don't give up.

Blessings...

Robin
