Guest guest
, I can't thank you enough for your answers to my questions about SSD. You are the only person who explained things so well. Thank you, Thank you. Congratulations on getting your SSD so quickly. You really " lucked out " compared to some of the other stories and problems that the others are going through. Why can't something that we have all paid into and we all really need be a little easier?! Can I ask what diagnoses you used. I have CP, SOD, hypertriglyceridemia, hypothyroid, anxiety/depression. I am going to see my doctor this week about testing for Hereditary Pancreatitis as it does run in my family and I have had " stomach problems " all my life, since early childhood. I would be very surprised if I don't have HP. My triglycerides 6 weeks ago were 791. Just so I have this straight in my head and what I was thinking. . .as long as I am making less than 800 per month can I continue working until I am approved (hopefully) and then quit working all together? I am not trying to " beat the system " I am just trying to get around no income for 5 months. I work as an Independent Contractor as a medical transcriptionist. What I can do is give up some medical accounts so that I make less than 800 and then file for SSD and quit working after I am " approved. " Is this correct? Again, thank you so much for responding in such an understandable way. If you could get back to me, I would appreciate it. Take care of yourself. You, too, are in my prayers. Templin (Ohio) nancy@... Maybe its different for working at home part time, but I was off work totally for a year before I got disability. I hope you get what you need at just the right time.
