Deb,

I don't know but next time I am at clinic I will ask the dietitican how

much per gram of fat and tell you. I have never heard of it actually,

so maybe it's not used here in Oz.

Hi Deb,

We use Ultrase (4500 lipase dose per capsule). My dietician explained that

on average a person needs 1800 units of lipase per gram of fat, so 1 Ultrase has

4500 units of lipase divided by 1800 equals 2.5. Therefore, 1 Ultrase covers

2.5 grams of fat. She also explained that some people need more, some less, and

this would be the average dose. Hopefully this helps.

I am sorry you have to deal with a problem husband as well as sick kids.

Perhaps hubby needs to stay home on your trip. I wish you well

But how do you get a 10 year old and a 5 year old to eat horseradish? My

girls love marshmallow that won't be a problem and I have had the girls take

vitamin C but really didn't seem to help at least keep the colds away so we

stop taking that. The garlic they love also. Thanks for your help. Deb A
