Guest guest
Deb, I don't know but next time I am at clinic I will ask the dietitican how much per gram of fat and tell you. I have never heard of it actually, so maybe it's not used here in Oz. Guest guest
Hi Deb, We use Ultrase (4500 lipase dose per capsule). My dietician explained that on average a person needs 1800 units of lipase per gram of fat, so 1 Ultrase has 4500 units of lipase divided by 1800 equals 2.5. Therefore, 1 Ultrase covers 2.5 grams of fat. She also explained that some people need more, some less, and this would be the average dose. Hopefully this helps. Guest guest
I am sorry you have to deal with a problem husband as well as sick kids. Perhaps hubby needs to stay home on your trip. I wish you well Maureen Re: DEB A > You can't compare! Your two may seem like 3! We are all entitled to be > overwhelmed regardless of number of kids. My girls love marshmallow that won't be a problem and I have had the girls take vitamin C but really didn't seem to help at least keep the colds away so we stop taking that. The garlic they love also. Thanks for your help. Deb A
