For those that have had Whipple surgery and still have pain.

It is my understanding that 50% of people that have their pancreas

removed continue to have pain. That is why I will not have the

surgery( plus with my anatomy it is a no win situation) I guess I

was lucky to have a surgeon who was frank with me, and told me the

truth. His suggestion is to continue with chronic pain management

with or without the surgery. I am going to have an intrathecal cath

placed some time this week they are yet to call with the appointment

time.
