Guest guest
Hi everyone, Whilst at MD Cancer Center the past 10 days for evalutation of the Desmoid Tumours that have been said the cause for my pancreatitis is that scar tissue on my pancreas after my second op, is the cause for my pancreatic duct to keep closing, not the Tumours they have told me I have. A Whipple is the best procedure to deal with this, but if I have another operation, it is obvious to me and the doctors I have seen that more scar tissue will just grow on the remaining part of the pancreas causing the exact same problem...their option at the moment (GI's I saw at MDACC) say to just go in and have an ERCP every 2 months..but that's easy to say when they don't have a pancreatitis attack everytime and then have to go through withdrawal of pain and nausea meds after each time also *L*..what to do, what to do... Think I shall have my two best doctors work it out for me *L* ( at least the good news is that they actually think the Desmoid Tumours are in fact just balls of scar tissue and won't cause me any further problems) Thanks for listening
