Guest guest
<A HREF= " http://www.tdh.state.tx.us/newborn/handbook.htm " >http://www.tdh.state.tx.u\ s/newborn/handbook.htm</A> This site describes galactosemia about as well as I have ever seen it described; this is a more rare disorder than lacose intolerance, and more serious, and is becoming more widely known. The importance of it is that it is vital to have you or your child accurately diagnosed and this disease distinguished from lactose intolerance, and both distingui shed from plain old milk allergy--and there is no law that you cannot have all of them AND be a cf carrier or a person with cystic fibrosis, alas! I like this site, and submit it as the topic of problems digesting milk have surfaced again. This also can readily be tested for and one does not have to guess about one's own treatment or one's children's. I have one child who is lactose intolerant, one who is allergic to milk, and five cousins with galactosemia--and by the way just because all your ancestors came from NW Europe does NOT mean that you or your children cannot have any of these conditions! Now that I have really cheered people up on two list, I'll go! n Rojas, your busy little web-browser crawler! ---------- [internetShortcut] URL=http://www.tdh.state.tx.us/newborn/handbook.htm Modified=3059935356F2C2017A
