Dear Steve,

While I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis, please let me assure

you that you have come to the right place for information, support

and understanding. We have a great group here of fellow

sufferer's who are enthusiastic in their willingness to help others

by sharing their knowledge and experiences with chronic and

acute pancreatitis.

I suggest you read back through other posts that have titles that

interest you. Or, if you have a specific question about one thing

or another, you can type in the name of the subject, such as

" antioxidants " in the " search archives " block at the top of the PAI

message board screen, and all posts relating to antioxidants will

appear.

Another great resouce material is our library at:

http://www.top5plus5.com/

This site was built by one of our members, Mark Armstrong, and

is probably the most comprehensive site for any questions

relating to pancreatitis and it's many areas of medical

information that you will find on the internet. Check out our " files "

section, too!

There are several of us that are diabetic, also. I am a type 1

diabetic, as a result of a DKA just this last March. My diagnosis

of CP was made 27 months ago. I have pancreas burn-out, so

some of my problems are different than others, but I've been

through the full range of chronic pancreatitis problems which you

are just beginning to face.

And last, but certainly not least, you can ask any questions you

wish on the message board, someone is sure to have an

answer for you, or we'll know where you can find it.

I hope we can be of much help to you with your guestions.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi

interested in learning how others are coping with this disease.

I am also diabetic (type ll) Steve
