Guest guest
Although I do know it's not on the list of things that would cause a panc attack I have experienced the same attack after eating some very spicy salsa, but...along with that I had a beef chimichanga, and I know that with my kidney and liver problems I have to watch my protein intake, I just didn't think well before I ate it. I would have to agree with Mark on this one though, if it causes discomfort or pain then don't eat it.
Guest guest
--I, too, am a NON-DRINKER! I don't even like alcohol. Also had my gallbladder removed years ago as the doctors thought that was my problem -- NOT!! CP was my problem. As I stated in prior messages -- PROCESS OF ELIMINATION!!! That's how they determined mine!!
Guest guest
I also am a non drinker, and non smoker, I do still have my gallbladder but I was first misdiagnosed as having Irritable Bowel Syndrome when the real problem was CP. I do have a family history of " stomach cancer " which was all they knew to call it about 50+ years ago though. Maybe you should check your family medical history, I don't know for sure that this could be genetic but I do know in my case it is.
Guest guest
--I, too, was first diagnosed with IBS as well after they stated " of course, it all could be in your head! " Yeah, right, we're imagining that we have pain!! Thanks a lot doctor!! Oh, I'm a non-smoker as well. However, my father both drank AND smoked. He died when I was 18 mos. old smoking in bed at the age of 55. I'm wondering if he had panc. problems! Probably. I probably inherited it!!! Darned genes.
