Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Before I go on holiday I'd like to thank PAI for helping me find out more about HP. The message archives were useful (thanks to Diane for info) as was PAI's own HP section (thanks to Heidi for pointer). I have also now accessed the Europac info from Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, UK, where I live, which is leading and coordinating a major European research study into HP. Altogether I now feel much better informed and will approach my appointment with the Europac team much more knowledgeably! By the time I see the pancreatic specialist surgeon again in a few weeks I think I will be better equipped to make a decision on whether or not to have the total pancreatectomy. It has been really helpful emotionally as well to be in touch with other patients and be made aware of their experiences. It is frightening when one is first diagnosed and this contact has been so important to me. Thanks Mark, and everyone! I wish you all well and will keep you up-to-date in case anyone is interested in this particular type of CP. Best wishes.
