Guest guest
To anyone with necrosis of the pancreas ... My husband was told he didn't have to take pancreatic enzymes anymore. The tip of the head of his pancreas is working. Just curious if anyone out there with only a bit of pancreas still functioning was told to stop the pancrealipase enzymes? It's amazing how powerful just a portion of the gland is. Barry (my husband) finally met someone with necrotizing pancreatitis and he quit the enzymes " cold turkey. " This person and Barry are not diabetic either. Things are going so well ... I'd hate to go backwards! Also, ... I'm reading more and more that a lot of you out there had/have liver enzyme problems. Very interesting ... and no one is diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis? Trying to figure out if there's a coincidence between the high liver enzymes and pancreatitis ....
