Guest guest
Hello everyone, Happy St. s Day. OK here is the problem we are dealing with. Paige has a rash from head to tow...quite literally. It is not raised bumps, nor blisters...just red spots..not specks like heat rash, larger..but not quite hives..he hehe..CONFUSED YET. SO NO NEW FOODS NO NEW SOAP NO NEW MEDS NO NEW ANYTHING> it just popped up Saturday night. It is worse in warm areas. For example..her little tushy is covered...still very cute he hehe, but covered. And she fell asleep on me yesterday, and when I peeled her off to lay her down, her check was worse..where we were together. We go to the pedi tomorrow. NO fever, ugh..what the heck is this. Started Saturday night. Very strange...sometimes it looks paler..then it looks brighter again..on her face..the redness is getting more spread out...like the spots are widening? Any thougths would be appreciated Mom to KM 8wocf, and Paige 3wcf, and author of " Juggling Cystic Fibrosis. A Health Journal "

Guest guest
My son had something that sounds like that and they called it Hand, Foot and Mouth virus...It was the worst in the diaper area. He also had it on his hands and feet. I guess some kids can get sores in their mouth as well. If this is it, you just have to wait it out, it goes away on its own. They get it from another infected child and I believe once they get it they will not get it again. Keep us posted.
