Guest guest
Dear Staci, From the best of my recollection, Carole Watts had a tumor removed from the tail of her pancreas. She was a member when I first joined two years ago, and although I believe she's still a member, she never posts anymore. I don't know what extent her surgery was. You might look up her email address in the member's file and send off an inquiry to her. Your procedure is quite extensive and I can understand your fear and apprehension. Any surgery is scary!!! I can understand why you would want to talk to as many people you can to find out how this surgery affected them. I hope that anyone else that's had anything like this done will come forth and talk about it. Just remember that you're in our thoughts and prayers as you approach this upcoming surgery. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SE & SW Regional Rep. PAI, Intl. Hi Staci, Heidi, all, I did a search of the message board archives for " tumor " , and found a message from Carole that she posted last October. It summarizes her experience, and offers anyone who wishes more information to get in contact with her directly. You can read this message by clicking on the following link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pancreatitis/message/36798 Hope this helps.
