Guest guest
Hi Kimber! I read in one of your posts that you collect knives. What kind of knives? My dad collects knives (and lots of other stuff too!), he really is into old military knives. He has quite a large collection of antique and new. He loves it! Spends hours on the net researching and lots of time on e-bay too. So how is the weather up north? I actually may be in Oakland this weekend. My fiancee is working up there again so I go and see him whenever I can. I don't care for Oakland very much but oh well, gotta do what i gotta do. I hope you are well. Guest guest
Marisa, I collect fantasy knives made by Gil Hibben mostly, though I do have others. Gil Hibben created the Klingon knives made for the Star Trek movies. He has a series where he comes out with a new knife every year and I am collecting them. He started them in 1990 and I'm still trying to get all the early knives, which usually means looking at ebay for those. About a month ago I had actually bought my first ebay purchase in gettiing one of the knives which is out of production and got a good price for it to. Plus, of course, I have to keep up with the new ones every year. The weather, except today, has been pretty hot for up here (needed the air conditioner). Today it's really nice. Nice and sunny, but not too hot. Maybe some day we could meet when you are up visiting your fiance since I'm only about 1 hour away from Oakland via public transportation. We'd have to meet somewhere near public transportation for me since I don't drive and my house is not in a condition to have visitors. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
