Guest guest
, Don't worry about it taking so long because I have been sick and winded back up in the hospital before I was suppose to have my ERCP to see if I could have my surgery. I now have two stints in my pancreas for drainage and at the moment they don't think I need a sphinteroctomy where they cut me open because the sphincters were not closed up and the meat of the pancreas is swollen. I also had a horror story with a resident while I was in MUSC. In fact it was when I was transfer from Sumter to ton. The resident told me she had never heard of someone getting disability on just chronic pancreatitis and I was on too much MS Contin and she would be talking to Dr. Hawes when he came in the next day. I didn't say anything to anyone but the nurse who also said she hadn't heard of that but the next day when she came in with Dr. Hawes she had a different attitude. It made me feel ashamed to the fact that I am 32 and disabled and can't work She doesn't know how hard it is everyday not to be able to work when I would like to. Since also being diagnosed as Type 2 diabetic but not having to take insulin each day is a struggle for me at times. Now I have to face that if in a month I don't get any better they want to put a feeding tube back in and that is one thing I don't want but right now I don't see where I am going to get away from having it done. I am to the point right now even though it has only been a couple of days being in the hospital that I am going to have to have the tube. I do hope you are doing well and hope you are having somewhat of a pain free day. Love. in Sumter, SC
Guest guest
, I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that nurse who was mean to you. I gather when she approached Dr. Hawes, he changed her attitude for you. People like that make me so mad. I'm also sorry that you are having such problems to make them consider a feeding tube. If they do put in, I hope it works well and lessens your nausea and pain. Keep in touch and let us know what happens and how things go. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
