Guest guest
I was born with a pancreas divisum and started having AP attacks 4 1/2 years ago. After several failed stent placements I had a sphincteroplasty done on my pancreatic duct in Aug of '02. I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks and was able to get around a few weeks after that. I was extremely confident that the surgery was a success and was even released by the doctor the first week of Nov. But a few weeks after that I suffered an attack and have had 4 since, the most recent being Memorial Day weekend. I do not regret trying the surgery because the way I feel I'll try anything. I do hope you have success with the surgery and I wish you luck. I am now trying to live with CP and have found these message boards a blessing. Stay positive and never give up!
