Question - Did anyone ever have ear problems due to CF?

My Eddie is 8 years old. He has a Cholosteatoma in his ear canal.

This is a benign skin growth (tumor) that keeps coming back. This

will be his 4th surgery in 2 years to remove it.

It grows rapidly and presses on the facial nerve. His surgeries last

approx. 5 hours. It's the lungs under anesthesia that is the scariest

part. No one (as far as I know) knows what causes it.

I was wondering if anyone has every had this problem?
