Guest guest Posted June 25, 2003 Report Share Posted June 25, 2003 Hi all, Finally went to the hospital yesterday after fighting the old pancreas for a week and finally couldn't take it anymore. Was pumped full of fluids and given pain meds. Saw my GI this morning and he wants me to have a celiac block. I see Dr. Fogle in Indiana, he is going to speak at the Symposium, and my GI here in Ohio wants me to go back to Dr. Fogle for the injection. Has anyone had success with this? Does anyone know much about it? My GI doc said it can give pretty much pain relief for 8-12 months!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone is pain free today.
