Guest guest
>>>>The pain was mostly RUQ and pretty severe. Taking 20 mgs. of Oxycontin 3 times a day, hardly touching it!I felt fatigued much easier, and had a hard time sitting up. Sometimes the pain would be worse in the front, or in the back, but never both at the same time. Life would have been impossible with the pain meds. My potassium was also found to be low in the hospital, which they gave me orally and through IV<<<< Hi Robin, our pain sure sounds the same, so I am betting my pancreatic duct is somewhat blocked and that is causing my pain. When I get this pain (RUQ) bad and have to go to the hospital, my potassium is always low, and my hemoglobin is back down to 9.0, and I don't have any bleeding going on that I know of! Luckily my my pain did not ruin our weekend trip. But as you know, it is always a worry that the pain will hit and ruin things!! How are you doing now? Did you get your stent removed? I wonder what the percentage of re- blockage is with the procedures we have had? Has your doctor ever mentioned that what happened to you is a common occurrence? Hope you are still feeling better!!
