Guest guest
I too am blown away by that. Both my sons have CF and yes I didn't know that my first son had it until my second was born. If I didn't wind up getting divorced, I probably would have had a third child. It is not the end of the world. We live every day to it's fullest. And I could never imagine not having my Greg if I previously knew that Eddie had CF. I lost a cousin to Leukemia when she was just 4 years old. Life throws curve balls to everyone. Some more than others. I truly believe that there is a reason why these two boys were chosen to be my sons. I remember when my boys were first diagnosed. The doctor said to me, " If your child's fate is to have a disease. Cystic Fibrosis is the one you want. It is the closest to a cure and it is managable.
