Guest guest
Beth & Will & Leah, Hooray for all of you. What wonderful news to know that things seem to be going well. I know Will is glad to be home, as are you, Beth. I am so happy to hear that Leah is getting her cast off, too. You have shown such strength during these difficult times. You are such an inspiration. Regarding the fat free snack food, since Will likes Little Debbie snacks, they make a couple of fat free versions. It's hard to recommend any food suggestions because everyone is so different. Some of the things I do is if I am up to cooking at all, I substitute applesauce for oil to create some good fat free bakery items. I avoid yeasty bread baking, though. Some fruits are good, natural applesauce eliminates intestinal mucous & is a heart tonic, mulberries detoxify the body, papaya has enzymes which help break down undigested proteins and destroys intestinal parasites Keep us informed on how things go at home. And, about the follow up ERCP? With Joy & Light, Karyn , RN Exec. Director, PAI Indianapolis, Indiana
Guest guest
Hi Beth, I always try and keep Angel Food Cake in the house. It has no fat and really helps ease my sweet tooth. I also keep marshmallows around, as they have no fat also. What kid doesn't like marshmallows? LOL I have had a really hard time giving up the sweets, that is my down fall. I didn't have to much trouble giving up the meats that are so high in fat, but sweets has been a real battle. Is Will diabetic? I hope this helps. Sending lots of happy thoughts your way.....
