Guest guest
Hi all! I have not kept up on the site this past month..things have been a little hectic. I am scarred to death that they are going to tell me tomorrow that my little girl needs to be hospitalized....Hannah (3 years old) cultured PA before Christmas..they put her on Cipro and Tobi to try to erradicate it...About 3 days after the Cipro was done she started to have a cough (we still had 2 more weeks of Tobi). we tried to wait it out (they keep telling us not to call unless she has coughed for a week) I went ahead and took her to the pediatrician and he thought it was juts a virus...a week later she was still coughing and sounding " yucky " so I took her back and he heard some rattling and put her on something in the same family of Cipro. She was supposed to be on it for 10 days but the pharmacy only gave us enough for 9 days. Yesterday was the last dose (of course that pharmacy was closed after we found out there was not enough for the last dose) She is still coughing and sounding bad...I am not sure if all the " goo " is from her chest or her sinuses. Hannah has been VERY active and this does not seem to be slowing her down. BUT she has NEVER had a cough for this long!!!! I am hoping it is just the same Virus that has been going around (my husband is still coughing and I had it for a few months a while back) Do you think they will admit her??? She has not ever been in for a " clean out " as I have heard it called.... Any suggestions on what I should ask the doctors...I am calling tomorrow morning and taking her in in the afternoon if they will fit her in! Thanks for all the help! mom to Hannah (3 yrs old w/cf) and Tommy almost 6 w/ocf

Guest guest
Deb A and Sara, I've noticed that Wyatt does the same thing as Deb's daughter..He has a cough the entire time he's on TOBI and as soon as the course is over he stops. Christy Mom of Wyatt wcf and Hunter 2.5 wocf who broke my heart this morning when he ACTUALLY cried when I left him at daycare/school. I was NOT expecting that bc he was so excited about going > > Hi all! > > > > I have not kept up on the site this past month..things have been a > > little hectic.
