Guest guest
Hi , I was reading some past posts I was behind on and was interested in learning more about WAGR induced Pancreatitis. What does it stand for? I know what you mean about having to explain even basic Pancreatitis to people over and over again. I find myself wanting to say something they would probably know, but also try to remember that every opportunity to educate the public about this disease the better. It is frustrating at times. Most people don't really want to know, and when I am on the second or third sentence, I find them wishing they never would have asked what it was or wished they would have just said that they did. I usually cut it short then. The other thing I find is that once I mention something about blood sugar or Diabetes, they are off and running about somebody they knew with Diabetes, too. I just smile and nod my head. Anyway, I wanted to say hello, and ask you to post some more about WAGR. Maybe you could post some websites references. Blessings, Karyn E. , RN Exec.
