,

It is always so good to hear from you, but I am sorry that it is always under

such unfortunate circumstances. I am not sure if the ANA test was better than

you had hoped or worse, but it sure seems like more and more people are

having evidence of Lupus.

Regarding the ERCP on Friday and an activity on Saturday, for myself I

wouldn't schedule anything all weekend. Even though the body might not be

screaming to get some rest, an ERCP is an invasive procedure and it will take

a couple of days for the body to recover and get its strength back. I would

stay in, and nurture my pancreas with love and kindness, sip on herbal teas,

take a long bath for water and aroma therapy. Play some soft Old Time music

for music therapy.

Do you know what the original cause of your Pancreatitis was? The way you

will feel will be dependent on what is done during the ERCP. If it is just to

visualize the ducts you could fair okay. If there needs to be any endoscopic

procedures done, stenting, etc., it usually results in extending discomfort.
