Hey there Patty, I apologize for not writing sooner but I have been in the wings trying to keep up with the posts just seems as if the days need to be longer. Thank you for Brandan we are so very happy at his progress, although some days it does seem like 5 steps forward and 3 steps back we do as we always have and take the good with the bad. Thank you also for asking about my husband, he will have his last chemo treatment next week, it surely has been a long road but he is doing wonderful and just trying to get use to living life with a colostomy. It is a small price to pay considering the alternatives. I will tell them both you are thinking of them. As for the last I heard from her she asked me to let the group know and I did that she will be away for awhile. Jackie is doing well last reports and there are just some things she needs to get straightened out in her life, but not to worry she will be back when she is able to write again. If and when I speak with her I will let her know you are thinking of her and Jackie. I am so very sorry to hear about your neice, and all that has been going on in your family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I understand family issues at times can be very difficult, if you ever need anyone to talk to please feel free to email me directly so as we can talk. As for Dr. Sutherland perhaps you can email him and talk with him perhaps he can help shed some light on others that have had similiar conditions as Cassie and be of help in some way. Or perhaps he knows someone in our area that can help? Otherwise we see Brandans GI from MGH on tuesday next week, I will ask him if he or anyone from his group travel north of Boston and see what I can do about information for you. I hope Cassie continues to have good days ahead please tell her we say hello, and remember to take care of you too. I will talk with you again real soon. As always keeping you and yours in our thoughts and prayers...Keep smiling(cuz sometimes its all one can do!) TTFN.. : ) Peg Bates Brwnbare9@... Massachusetts State Chapter Rep.
